  • Lid with a molded high-temp handle eliminating the need to wear heat protective gloves.
  • Extra Heating Element. A spare is really great to have just in case, but chances are you may never need to use it.
  • Large 1 ½” (38mm), Three-Way Ball Valve to make dispensing thick liquids easy. Tip: Working with oils or wax that can set up hard with room temperature may block the flow of your ball valve. Check out our optional Heated Valve Assembly.  Just heat it to melt, no blockage - headache free.
  • Adjustable Ball Valve tension.
  • Dispenses at a 90° angle for minimal number of required fittings.. and it also makes it easier to clean.

Specifications for 13 Gallon Oil Melter Tank:

  • Both inner and outer tanks, lid and all fittings are 304 Stainless Steel. Its cosmetic grade and meets organic certification requirements.
  • Capacity - Approximately 13 gal. (49L), 100 lbs (45.359Kg) in weight.
  • Water Jacket Volume - approximately 8.15 gal (30.71L)
  • Exterior dimensions - 21” (53cm) high by 18” (46cm) in diameter.
  • Outer water jacket tank is Water boiler style with flat bottom.
  • Interior dimensions - approximately 15" x 16"
  • ½” (13mm) Inlet and Outlet
  • Large 1 ½” (38mm), Three-Way Ball Valve outlet with 90 degree elbow.
  • Heater - 120 Volt, 1500 watt / Thermostat - (50F to 250F) (10C to 121C).
  • Note: For International and Domestic customers requiring 220 volt 50 or 60 cycle, order our Model 13MH220. We substitute our 220 volt, 3000 watt, Heater – Thermostat  at no additional change.  Just let us know your preference.
  • Plug may be need to be changed to meet your local or country electrical codes.
  • Countries with 50 Hz electrical power; wattage will be approximately 17% less than the wattages shown.

  • Flushing out the heated water from the water jacket is made easy with Water Inlet and Outlet Fittings.
    • Check out our optional “Faucet for Water Jacket”. It replaces the water jacket drain plug so you can control the flow just by turning the handle. A standard garden hose can be connected for easy drainage.
  • If you don't need to flush the water jacket, you can fill with Mineral Oil or Propylene Glycol (PPG) instead of water.
    • Its slower to heat than water but has much better heat retention, plus evaporation is less of an issue.
    • Less maintenance is required.
    • Allows for higher temperatures.
    • NOTE: When using PPG always be sure to use food grade quality with inhibitor.
