Our 85 Gallon (680 lbs) Oil/Wax Melter Water Jacketed Tank offers a safe and efficient way to melt and warm your oils, butters, wax, honey, M&P and other products with more control and precision. 

A water jacketed tank design gives you even controlled heat distribution without the risk of scorching or burning your ingredients due to hot spots. The added bonus with this tank is our custom designed inner tank with a sloped bottom, it makes the tank that much more efficient.

Oil/Wax Melter Tank Model 85MH Comes Complete with...

  • Sloped Bottom for more efficient and faster drainage of products and ingredients.
  • Lid, Heating Element, 1.5 Inch Ball Valve, Thermostat with Cord.
  • Lid is designed with a molded high-temp handle. No need to wear heat protective gloves to lift the lid.
  • UL approved components.
  • Extra Heating Element. Chances are you may never need to use it, but its really great to have a spare should the need ever arise.
  • Large 1 ½” (38mm), Three-Way Ball Valve for ease in dispensing thick liquids such as creams. Tip: Check out our optional Heated Valve Assembly.  If you work with ingredients like wax or oils that solidify at room temperature, these could set up hard in your Ball Valve blocking flow. Now you can just heat it to melt and save on the headaches. 🙂 
    • Adjustable Ball Valve tension.
    • Dispenses at a 90° angle for minimal number of fittings required.. much easier to clean.
  • ½” (13mm) Inlet and Outlet for filling and draining the water jacket.

  • See out our optional “Faucet for Water Jacket”. It replaces the water jacket drain plug. This allows you to control the flow just by turning a handle. A standard garden hose can be connected to make draining it easy.
  • You can also use Mineral Oil or Propylene Glycol (PPG) instead of water if you don't have a need to flush your water jacket.
    • Its slower to heat than water and has better heat retention, plus evaporation is less of an issue.
    • Less maintenance is required.
    • Allows for higher temps when the tank is required for other purposes.
    • NOTE: When using PPG always be sure to use food grade quality with inhibitor.

The custom sloped design gives you the advantage of increased efficiency.

With a large tank, there is no need to tilt your tank or stand to get those last few drops out.

The sloped interior also makes clean up easier.

  • All stainless steel construction.
  • Approximately 85 gal (321.76L) capacity or approximately 680 lbs (308Kg).
  • The Water Jacket Volume is approximately 26.37 gal (99.41L)
  • Outside dim. are 37" (94cm) high by 31" (79cm) in diameter.
  • 9,000 watts - 2 each - 220 Volt, 4500 watt, Heater Units. Thermostats (50F to 250F) (10C to 121C).
  • Each draws about 21 amps and has a, Nema 6/20p style plug.
  • Must be shipped Motor Freight (Shipping Not Included in Price)

Note: This unit is compatible for all International customers. The plug will have to be changed to conform with local codes. If you have any doubt about your electrical power requirements call your electric provider or electrician.
